I must try it with those peppers. We are getting more cucumber than expected.<BR/><BR/>I usually do some very simple, but much appreciated thing that I learnt from a little old lady back home:<BR/><BR/>At least 1 cup (probably more) ordinary sugar. 2 - 4 capsules of white vinegar. Salt, white pepper, water. I slice the cucumber thinly with the cheese slicer.
