Some of the municipalities around Toronto have water towers but I live near Lake Ontario and I think we get our water from the there because I see water purification plants but no water towers.
Mona says if we don't have a water tower we can show a different kind of tower so I am showing you the CN Tower in downtown Toronto. This view is from Queen's Quay (pronounced 'key') at the lake. The tower, at 553.33m (1,815 ft., 5 inches) high, used to be the highest free standing structure in the world but has been surpassed by a building in Dubai. Shucks! What do we do now...build another bigger taller one?
Yes, I have been to the top of the CN Tower, it was awful because, like Mona, I am afraid of heights. I stayed back near the wall while my visiting cousin walked to the rails (more like a cage) to snap photos. There was a glass floor that I did not go out on either. And I closed my eyes in the glass elevator up the side of the building. That was a few years ago and I haven't had to back up there since.
